Are you a young professional seeking career advancement, skill development, and global networking opportunities? Join us for one of the online regional calls organised by the IWA Young Water Professionals (YWPs) Steering Committee, supported by the IWA Secretariat.

An IWA YWP Regional Call is an online gathering organised by the International Water Association (IWA) specifically for Young Water Professionals (YWPs) within a particular geographical region (e.g., Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific, Europe, or North America). These calls are part of IWA’s ongoing efforts to foster a connected and empowered global YWP community.

With a focus on Africa, this Regional Call will spotlight selected IWA YWP Chapters from Africa, highlighting their activities and main contributions towards a water-wise world. The event will explore the impacts of climate change on water scarcity across Africa from a YWP perspective, where the discussion will highlight cutting-edge engineering solutions, policy innovations, and collaborative approaches to building climate resilience and ensuring sustainable water management and governance. The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session to foster cross-sector dialogue and actionable insights.
