YWP Get-Together | Perspectives from Asia-Pacific youth on the UN 2023 Water Conference

The IWA Young Water Professionals Steering Committee and the IWA Secretariat invite the IWA Young Water Professionals community to meet online for a Get-Together on Asia-Pacific Youth Perspectives on the UN Water Conference. This IWA YWP online Get-Together is part of a series of online meetings developed for the IWA Young Water Professionals (YWP) community. The event is in collaboration with the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Tokyo and Youth and Young Water Professionals Platform (YYPP) by Global Water Partnership South Asia as dissemination partners.

During this IWA YWP online Get-Together, participants will learn about the United Nations 2023 Water Conference and youth engagement during the event. This IWA YWP online Get-Together will highlight the perspectives and experiences of young professionals from the Asia-Pacific region who attended the conference in person. A panel of experienced professionals will discuss the conference themes and how these are relevant across Asia and the Pacific. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the conference outcomes, youth participation and how they articulate and influence the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the objectives set within the Water Action Decade.

In addition to this, some of the youth delegates from the IWA and Grundfos “Youth Action for SDG6” Fellowship from the Asia-Pacific region will join the event, sharing their insights from attending and contributing to the UN 2023 Water Conference.

The event will be hosted in English, and no translation will be available. This is a free event and no certificate will be provided.
